My name is Maria Prikhodko. I am a Professional Lecturer in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Discourse at DePaul University. Over the nine years of teaching and tutoring in Russia and the USA, I have prided myself on crafting and administrating courses ranging from elementary English to undergraduate (multilingual) writing courses that have the same core goal: to not only improve students’ learning processes and literacies within academic settings, but also encourage critical thinking mindset of such processes as essential across all life domains.
