What literacies are valuable?

How important the projects could be for the students? While listening to each presenter, I felt moved b their learning experiences and agentive observations. Each life is full of everyday happenings. The course-long project - researching a community of choice - occurred to be a recipe for attacking students' life literacies/languages into academia. The only challenge I noticed - reluctance to bring variety of languages they are exposed to outside of class. I will keep working to make a difference!
